Fatikchari representative: Two brothers named Abbas (25) and Azad (20) of Fatikchari died tragically while bathing in the sea of Oman in the Middle East. The Omani police recovered the bodies of two brothers floating in the sea early on Monday (September 4). The two deceased brothers are the sons of deceased Ahmed Hossain of Chandgaon Para, Ward No. 4 under Nazirhat Municipality of Upazila.
They are still single. Abbas is the second and Azad the fourth of six brothers in the family. It is known that they have been living in the Hamira area of Oman for a long time. A few months ago, when their father died in the country, the whole family came to the country. Recently, Abbas and Azad went to Oman, leaving behind their mother. They went to hang out with their friends at the Shifa area on the seashore on Monday around 3 p.m. local time.
At one point, two brothers went down to bathe in the sea and drowned under the pull of the tide. The friends who were with them reported it to the police without finding it. Later, the police came and recovered the bodies of two people floating in the water.
Meanwhile, news of the untimely deaths of two expatriate youths cast a pall over the area. It is to be noted that in the last two weeks, a total of six remittance fighters, including two in Dharmapur of the upazila, one in Fatikchari municipality, and three in Nazirhat municipality, have died prematurely.
