Natore Representative: Miscreants hacked to death Awami League General Secretary Osman Gani in Natore’s Lalpur Ward. The incident took place at Dangapara village in Kadimchilan union of the upazila around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday (September 3). Abdur Razzak, a resident of the same village and former chairman of Osman Gani Upazila, is the main accused in the murder case.
According to police sources, Rezaul, a former UP member of the same area, had a conflict with Osman Gani for a long time. As a result of this dispute, opponents came to Osman Gani’s house in January this year and cut and injured some of his father and brother. A few days later, the miscreants killed Abdur Razzak, the former chairman of No. 10 Kadimchilan Union. Osman Gani was the main accused in that case.
Police believe that Osman Ghani may have been killed due to a previous dispute. In this regard, Lalpur Police Station OC Md. Ujjal Hossain said that the body was recovered and sent to Natore Hospital Morgue for autopsy. The police are investigating the matter. However, no case has yet been filed in this incident.
