Own Correspondent: Khatihata Highway police station has arrested a drug dealer with two kg of ganja in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria district. He was arrested today Friday (September 01) at 4 pm from Kuttapara junction area of Dhaka-Sylhet highway. The arrested drug dealer is Md. Nayan (27) of Daulatpur area of Kasba police station in Brahmanbaria district.
The highway police received secret information that passengers waiting for the bus on the Dhaka-bound lane of the Dhaka-Sylhet highway were carrying drugs.
Based on this information, Khantihata Highway police station SI Md. Sarwar Hossain arrested him along with the force. During the search of his bag, two kilograms of ganja were recovered.
Legal action is pending in this regard.
