Dhaka Bureau: The government is going to create 6,500 new posts in various ministries and directorates. At the same time, the matter of revising the recruitment rules of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), District Administrator (DC), and Divisional Commissioner’s office and formulating teacher-employee assimilation rules is under process.
These proposals are going to be raised in the meeting of the secretary committee on administrative development under the chairmanship of Cabinet Division Secretary Mahbub Hossain on Thursday (August 31). If these proposals are passed in the meeting, it will be good news for the new employees.
This information has been revealed by the relevant sources at the Ministry of Public Administration and the Cabinet Division. According to the agenda of today’s meeting, the Public Administration Ministry and the Finance Department have agreed to the proposal to create 6,409 new posts for seven ministries and some directorates.
After getting the approval of the committee of secretaries, the proposal will be issued by the concerned administrative ministry only after getting the approval of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Those concerned are trying hard to publish the recruitment circular before the elections.
