Own Correspondent: On the initiative of Chandnaish Samiti UAE, the member of parliament of Chittagong 14 constituencies, freedom fighter Alhaj Nazrul Islam Chowdhury has been given a civic welcome. Last Friday (November 25) at 9 o’clock in the night, a public reception was held at Sharjah Bangladesh Association Bangabandhu Hall under the chairmanship of Lion Nazrul Islam Talukda, the founder of the organization.

Alhaj Nazrul Islam Chowdhury MP, who called on expatriates to send remittances through legal channels, said to the expatriates that the remittances sent by expatriates play a significant role in Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves besides export income. By sending remittances legally, your contribution to the development of the country is ensured besides meeting the needs of your family. Also your income is considered valid in the country. In the current situation, it is very important to increase the foreign exchange reserve in order to meet the country’s import expenses and to keep the country’s economy dynamic. Therefore, he called upon all expatriates to send money to the country through legal channels and banking channels in this necessary situation of the country.

The guest of honor also said that Chandanish Samiti UAE organization is highly appreciated by everyone for its service to the humanity of the country as well as sincere communication among expatriates.

At the last event, all those who came were treated to Chittagong’s traditional Mejban.
