Own Correspondent: The local Dr. Sultan Ahmad has faced obstacles and threats from the opponent when he went to cultivate Aman saplings on his own land in Charamba Union in Lohagara Upazila. This incident took place in Ward No. 6 of Atra Union on Tuesday morning on August 22. Accusations have been made against 5 written and 9/10 anonymous people including opponent Bashir Ahmed in the diary. According to the diary, the complainant When Dr. Sultan Ahmad went to cultivate the land with a power tractor, the opponents stopped him without provocation.
At one point, if he tries to do any kind of cultivation on the land, he threatens to kill him and hide the body. Apart from this, the complainant and his people were publicly threatened with beatings, defamations and lawsuits by unknown terrorists. The complainant said the threats continued. As a result, the complainant and his family are suffering from insecurity of life and property.
He felt that urgent intervention of concerned authorities is necessary in this regard. In this context, the accused Bashir Ahmad said that Dr. Sultan Ahmad. He was not present at that time. In this regard, Charamba UP Chairman said that he is sick. However, heard the incident. No one informed him about this dispute.
Rashedul Islam, officer in charge of Lohagara police station, said that legal action will be taken subject to investigation regarding the dispute.
