Madaripur representative: Jubo League leader Liton Munshi is the son of Ayub Ali Munshi of North Hossainpur village of Hossainpur union of Rajoir upazila of Madaripur district. He was devoted to the team. On August 21, 2004, he was brutally killed in a grenade attack while attending Sheikh Hasina’s rally held at Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka. The family of the deceased Liton Munshi is still in mourning. His family is living very hard. Water falls through the rice of the old house. So they demanded to build a house in the village house.
Liton’s mother, Achia Begum, said, “The boy said there was no need to repair the old house. I will build here when I earn.’ But, loving the team, he gave his life. The condition of our house is very bad. It will be very beneficial if the Prime Minister constructs a house in our village. We are both sick. Every month, we need medicines worth 5 to 6 thousand rupees. Where can I get this money? He said, I heard that the Prime Minister gave a flat house in Dhaka in 2018 in the name of Liton’s daughter Mithila for Tk 5 lakh.
He also paid Rs 5,000 for his expenses every month. Mithila lives in Madaripur. Call us sometimes. Liton’s father, Ayub Ali Munshi, said, “After the death of my son, I received 5 lakh rupees from the government. That money has been spent on treatment. Now I get a government allowance of Rs 3000 per month. Our family does not survive. Liton’s daughter Mithila said, ‘I was very young when my father died in a grenade attack on August 21. I lost my father before I could love him.
My father’s soul will rest in peace only if the judgment of the perpetrators of the attack is executed quickly. Mithila’s mother, Mafia Begum, married a foreigner three years after her husband’s death and is staying at her in-laws’ house. He said that Mithila Madaripur Government College is giving HSC examinations from the humanities branch.
