Sports Desk: The Bangladesh leg of the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy tour is going on. The World Cup trophy is now in Mirpur’s home of cricket, the famous Sher-e Bangla Stadium. Cricketers from the national team took pictures with the trophy. At the same time, the coaching staff of the national team and the BCB officials are also given the opportunity to take pictures.
The World Cup trophy reached Bangladesh last Sunday (August 6) at midnight. Then yesterday, this trophy went to Padma Bridge. The World Cup trophy stayed at Mawa Point from noon until the evening. The trophy was originally taken for photography.
A day later, the trophy is now at Mirpur Sher-e Bangla Stadium. The trophy arrived at the BCB premises around nine o’clock on Tuesday morning. Cricketers, BCB directors, officials, and employees, cricket organizers, and sports journalists are getting a chance to take pictures with the trophy here.
Then, on the last day (August 9), the trophy will be displayed for the public at Bashundhara Shopping Complex in Dhaka. Fans can take pictures with it from a certain distance.
No ticket is required for this. BCB said that the decision to display the trophy at Bashundhara Shopping Complex was made to allow more people to see and take pictures of the trophy.
