Debut of Democratic Alliance Bangladesh

Dhaka Bureau: In light of the constitution, the 7-party alliance under the leadership of the Democratic Party has made its debut with the aim of making the upcoming 12th parliamentary elections free and participatory. Democratic Party Chairman SM Ashiq Billah formally announced the ‘Democratic Alliance Bangladesh’ alliance, which believes in the spirit of liberation war, non-recent Bangladesh, peace, democracy, and development politics.

The coordinator and spokesperson for this alliance is SM Ashiq Billah. National Assembly elections will be held on December 23 or January 24, according to the constitution. With that aim, the Democratic Alliance Bangladesh’ was formed with seven parties. The coordinator and spokesperson of this alliance, SM Ashiq Billah, said that in the future, the number of parties may increase in this alliance, and we can have unity with any party that believes in the spirit of liberation war.

We believe in the spirit of liberation war, we believe in communal harmony, we believe in peace politics, we believe in democracy and the development of the country, and we believe in protecting the fundamental rights of the people. The aim and objective of the democratic alliance are to change the political quality of the country through healthy politics, politics of harmony, politics of equality, anti-corruption, and anti-drug politics.

In the next election, this alliance will field candidates for 300 seats, inshallah. Democratic Alliance Bangladesh parties are the Democratic Party, Bangladesh Jatiya League, Progressive Democratic Alliance PDA, Ganadhikar Party, Bangladesh National Republican Party, Bangladesh Pratiwadi Janata Party, and Jatiya Krishak Sramik Party. Kazi Masood Ahmed, chairman of the Kazi Aref Foundation, was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Democratic Party presidium member Bir Muktijodha Mosharraf Hossain, Bangladesh National League Chairman Mahabubul Alam, Progressive Democratic Alliance Chairman Md. Mainuddin Chowdhury, and Ganadhikar Party Chairman Saddar Md. Abdus Sattar, General Secretary of Ganadhikar Party; Mr. Abdullah His Saki, Chairman of Bangladesh National Republican Party Yusuf Parvez, Chairman of the Bangladesh Pratibadi Janata Party Omar Farooq and the Secretary General of the National Krishak Sramik Party Ibrahim Khalil and others.
