The top officials of the government will get a car worth one and a half crore taka

Dhaka Bureau: Within a month of banning the purchase of government cars, the finance ministry has relaxed it. According to the new guidelines, top government officials will get more expensive cars than before. 94 lakh rupees were earlier allocated in this sector for grade-1 officials. Which has now increased to 1 crore, 45 lakhs. Grade-3 or above officers will get a car worth Tk 65 lakh. Also, the prices of various company vehicles for various government departments have been fixed.

A notification in this regard has been issued by the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance. The notification was reportedly approved on Monday. The new guidelines have determined which grade of officer can use vehicles worth Rs. At the same time, the CCO has been determined for the type of vehicle and the level of usability.

The Ministry of Finance says that cars, jeeps, pick-ups (single cabin, double cabin), microbuses, motorcycles, ambulances, coaster minibuses (AC), minibuses (non-AC), buses (non-AC), and trucks of various companies for government offices have been repriced considering their market rates. How much of a car will an officer get? Jeep: Tk 1 crore, 45 lakh (under 2700 cc) (including tax and VAT) (For Grade-I and Grade-II Level Officers). Jeep: Tk 65 lakh (under 2000 cc) (including registration, tax, and VAT) (For Officers in Grade 3 or below). Car: Tk 45 lakh (under 1600 cc) (including registration, VAT, and taxes); Pick-up (single cabin): Tk 38 lakh (below 2500 cc) (including registration, VAT, and taxes); Pick-up (double cabin): Tk 55 lakh (below 2500 cc) (including VAT, and taxes). 1 lakh, 40 thousand taka (below 125 cc) in the case of a motorcycle (including registration, VAT, and taxes); Microbus = Tk 52 lakh (under 2700 cc) (including registration, VAT, and taxes). Ambulance: Tk 54 lakh (under 2700 cc) (including registration, VAT, and taxes); (8) Coaster or Minibus (AC): Tk 75 lakh (below 4200 cc) (including registration, VAT, and taxes). Minibus (Non AC): Tk 32 lakh (below 2771 cc) (including registration, VAT, and taxes); Bus (Large, Non AC): Tk 46 lakh (below 5883 cc) (excluding registration); (a) Truck: Tk 39 lakh (5 Tons) (including registration, VAT, and taxes). (b) Truck: 31 lakh, 75 thousand taka (3 tons) (including registration, VAT, and taxes).

In order to follow the mentioned price in the matter of permission or allocation for the purchase of vehicles by various ministries, divisions, and directorates, the finance department instructs all the branches or sub-divisions to purchase vehicles according to this price. Earlier, on July 2, the Finance Department, through a circular, announced the ban on the purchase of new vehicles.
