Entertainment Desk: The mother of popular Indian Bengali cinema actress Debashree Roy has passed away. Aarti Roy breathed his last on Tuesday (November 8) at 6:30 pm. He was 92 years old.
Debashree Roy said in an Indian newspaper – ‘I couldn’t understand when mother left. I became an actress because of my mother. Without my mother, I had no intention of becoming an actress. Mother did not have any special diseases except old age problems. We three sisters were by mother’s side, so mother went very peacefully.
Debashree once entered the film to fulfill her mother’s wish. From teaching her dance to acting, Aarti Roy was behind it. In the early days of her career, National Film Award-winning actress Debashree used to go to Studiopara holding her mother Aarti’s hand.
Notably, Aarti Roy’s daughter Krishna Mukherjee (Devasree’s sister); His daughter is Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji. According to family sources, Krishna Mukherjee is currently unable to go to Kolkata due to physical illness.
