Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘I have visited all places in Bangladesh. I have trodden miles upon miles of mud. Boats, sampans, trawlers, canoes, and vans that have not been ridden I have a ride on everything. I have visited Bangladesh like this. I have seen Bangladesh. And understanding that, I have undertaken the development program. Now we have brought Bangladesh to an end. He said, ‘I have traveled the country in such a way and am using the experience of traveling around the country to bring Bangladesh to such a prestigious position.’

Sheikh Hasina said these things in the president’s speech at the Eid greeting exchange ceremony organized by the Upazila Awami League in Tungipara on Sunday (July 2) morning. The Prime Minister said, “We have come so far by forming the government in 2009. Bangladesh has changed in these 14 and a half years. The head of government also said, “Every village is no longer a village.” We have provided 100% electricity. I have improved the roads. Now everyone calls Bangladesh a role model for development at the international level. Earlier, the Prime Minister left for Gopalganj on a two-day road trip from Ganobhaban at 8 a.m. on Saturday. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina reached Kotalipara at 8:50 a.m. via the Padma Bridge around 11:30 p.m. At this time, local leaders and workers welcomed him.
