When is the holy Eid-ul-Azha, the date will be decided today

Dhaka Bureau: It will be known today when the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be held. A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee has been called to determine the date of Eid-ul-Azha and review the news of the moon sighting of the month of Zilhaj in the year 1444 Hijri.

The meeting will be held on Monday (June 19) evening at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. This information was informed in a press release of the Islamic Foundation on Sunday. If the moon of the month of Zilhaj is seen anywhere in the sky of Bangladesh, please call 02-223381725, 02-41050912, 02-41050916 and 02-41050917 and fax 02-223383397 and 02-9555951 or inform the concerned district administrator (DC) or upazila executive officer.

Islamic Foundation said. The moon of the month of Zilhaj was seen in the sky of Saudi Arabia on Sunday. As a result, the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in the country on June 28. The country’s Supreme Court announced this in a statement on Sunday. According to the statement, the moon of the month of Zilhaj was sighted on Sunday evening. The month of Zilhaj will begin on Monday.

Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on 10th of this month or 28th June. Earlier, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei announced the date of celebrating the holy Eid-ul-Azha. Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on June 29 in these countries as the moon has not been seen.
