Advance train tickets will be available starting today

Dhaka Bureau: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, advance train ticket sales have started online today (June 14). Bangladesh Railway has taken this decision on June 29 as the possible date of Eid.

The sale of these tickets started today at 8 a.m. on the railway e-ticketing website and Railseva app. However, for the first time this Eid, tickets will be sold in two shifts by region. At the same time, Bangladesh Railway has taken this decision to reduce the pressure on ticket aspirants.

As per the railway decision, June 24 tickets will be sold on June 14, June 25 tickets on June 15, June 26 tickets on June 16, June 27 tickets on June 17, and June 28 tickets on June 18. Besides, tickets will be sold on June 29,  June 30, and July 1, depending on Eid moon sightings.

Trains that have started selling tickets at 8 a.m.

Ekta Express (705/706), Karatoa Express (713/714), Kapotaksha Express (715/716), Sundarban Express (725/726), Rupsa Express (727/728), Varendra Express (731/732), Titumir Express (760), Sagardadi Express (761/762), Chitra Express (763/764), Nilsagar Express (765/766), Dolanchampa Express (767/768), Dhumketu Express (769/770), Rangpur Express (771/772), Sirajganj Express (775/776), Dhallachar Express (779/780), Tungipara Express (783/784), Banlata Express (791/792), Panchagarh Express (793/794), Benapole Express (795/796), Kurigram Express (797/798), Banglabandha Express (803) and Chilahati Express (805/806).

Train tickets will be sold at noon.
