Feni Correspondent: 4 people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a covered van on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Feni. Another 10 people were injured.
The accident happened on Wednesday (November 9) around 11:30 am. The names of the injured were not immediately known.
Mohipal Highway police station in-charge Mustafa Kamal said that a passenger bus was going from Chittagong to Dhaka in the morning. On the way there was a head-on collision with a covered van reversing. The bodies of the deceased were recovered and taken to the police station. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital.
Resident Medical Officer of Feni Modern Sadar Hospital Mohammad Asif Iqbal said that the bodies of 4 people killed in the road accident are in the hospital. 3 died at the scene and 1 died after being brought to the hospital. The injured are being treated.
