Dhaka Bureau: Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan inaugurated the mango special train to reach Dhaka, including the mango home of North Bengal, Chapainawabganj. The Railway Minister inaugurated this train at Chapainawabganj station on Thursday (June 8) morning.
Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan said the mango special train will reach Chapainawabganj, the home of mangoes, produced in Uttaranga at a low cost and in less time. Considering the common people, common mango farmers, and common mango traders, the Hon’ble Prime Minister directed the launch of the Mango Special Train in 2020. In continuation of this, a mango special train was arranged in Chapainawabganj.
The minister said, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman brought us freedom. He has developed food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care, and a road and rail communication system in the country. In order to realize the dream of the father of the nation, Sheikh Hasina has set a precedent for rail connectivity with North Bengal by establishing the Bangabandhu Rail Bridge and constructing the railway line on the Bangabandhu Bridge on the Yamuna River.
Ed. Sujan said that the Prime Minister is working for the common people of the country and has developed the country, but Razakar, Albadar, and Agun terrorists are saying various provocative things to the people to hinder this development. Rumors are spreading. He asked everyone to be vigilant.
The minister highlighted the various developmental activities of the railways and assured to start the other trains that were closed, including the Salt Train from Chapainawabganj. After the discussion, he inaugurated the Mango Special Train.
Members of Parliament Ziaur Rahman, Abdul Odud, and Samil Uddin Ahmed were present as special guests at the event.
