According to the news, India’s government agency, the National Center for Seismology, said that an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 struck the Bay of Bengal at around 8:30 a.m. Bangladesh time on Monday. The epicenter of the earthquake was at the bottom of the Bay of Bengal, near Myanmar. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km.
No casualties have been reported as a result of the earthquake so far.
