Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: Police arrested Nashir Uddin Prakash alias ‘robber Nashir’ (33) along with weapons in Maheshkhali Upazila of Cox’s Bazar. He was arrested from Ghonar Khamarbari in Ranga Khali Moinna of Matarbari Union around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday. At this time, two domestic pistols and a knife were seized.
Son of Abu Syed of Matarbari Maizpara area of Nashir Upazila.
According to the police, there are several cases against Nashir, including robbery.
Maheshkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Pranab Chowdhury said that there are a total of five cases against the dacoit Nashir, including murder, robbery, weapons, and a case against the police. A case has also been filed against him under the Arms Act.
