Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that the economy of the whole world is in turmoil today due to the corona epidemic and the Russia-Ukraine war. Bangladesh is no exception. In such a situation, the government is trying to keep the country’s economy in a good position. No major project will be undertaken for the time being so that the country does not fall into crisis.

The Prime Minister gave this instruction at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday (November 8). Planning Minister MA Mannan presented this information to the journalists after the meeting held at the NEC conference room in Sherbanglanagar.

The Prime Minister said, we have to increase production. Not even an inch of land can be spared. Various types of cultivation should be done on the land. We are going through difficult times. For this we have to be aware of expenses.

At this time, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina ordered to find the uncultivated land scattered all over the country. He ordered to find these uncultivable lands and make them arable with the help of DCs.
