Chakria (Cox’s Bazar) Representative: In Chakria, Cox’s Bazar CNG was hit by an autorickshaw. A battery operated rickshaw (TomTom) driver named Rezaul Karim (32) was killed.
The accident took place on Monday (November 7) at 10:30 am in Chakaria town on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway. Rezaul Karim is said to be the son of Abu Chayed, a resident of Digarpankhali area of Phansiakhali Union of Upazila.
Eyewitnesses said that on Monday morning at 10:30 a.m. when he reached the head of the city’s government hospital road, one of the wheels of his car suddenly fell off.
TomTom driver Rezaul was seriously injured in a collision with another CNG autorickshaw. Upazila Health rescued him from local people After being taken to the complex, the doctor on duty gave first aid and sent him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Later on the way to the hospital. He died at 1 pm.
