Own Correspondent: The Civil Aviation Authority has announced the suspension of flights at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport.
This decision was taken after the Department of Meteorology announced the No. 8 emergency signal due to Cyclone Moka in a notification issued on Friday (May 12) night. Chittagong Shah Amanat Airport Manager Wing Commander Taslim Ahmed provided this information.
Taslim Ahmed said that on Saturday (May 13), flight operations have been stopped at Shah Aman since 6 a.m. Initially, instructions were given to stop flights until midnight on Sunday.
