Dhaka Bureau: Hefazet Islam leader Mamunul Haque got bail in three more cases of sabotage. On Tuesday (May 9), he was granted bail in three cases of sabotage filed in Siddhirganj and Sonargaon police stations.
The High Court bench of Justice Habibul Gani and Justice Ahmed Sohel passed the order. Senior lawyer Zainul Abedin heard the bail application in court. Advocate Abu Raihan was with him. Additional Attorney General Mehdi Hasan Chowdhury heard the state’s side.
Earlier, the High Court granted bail to Hefazete Islam leader Mamunul Haque in five cases filed at Paltan in the capital and Hathazari police station in Chittagong last Wednesday.
Later on Sunday (May 7), the Supreme Court’s chamber court upheld Mamunul’s bail in two cases given by the High Court.
