The SSC exam starts tomorrow

Dhaka Bureau: SSC 2023 and equivalent exams are starting on Sunday (April 30) across the country. The exam will be held on the revised and reorganized syllabus of 2023.

It is said that the education boards and the education ministry are in a strict position to prevent question leakage. Various initiatives have been taken to prevent question leakage.

Meanwhile, a total of 20 lakh, 72 thousand, and 163 candidates will participate in this year’s examination. 10 lakh, 21 thousand, 197 male students and 10 lakh, 50 thousand, 966 female students will participate in SSC and equivalent examinations from 11 education boards.

This year, 50 thousand 295 candidates have increased in SSC and equivalent exams compared to last year. Among them, more than 37 thousand examinees have increased in science. And female students increased by 38 thousand (609 people). Last time, the total number of candidates for SSC and equivalent was 20 lakh, 21 thousand.

It is known that the written examination will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the scheduled day. First the multiple-choice test and then the essay test will be held. Candidates should enter the center 30 minutes before the start of the exam. Multiple Choice and Essay or Creative must be passed separately. Candidates can use a simple scientific calculator. No one else can use the mobile phone in the examination center except the secretary. Entry by the public within 200 yards of the centers has been banned except for the examinees.

However, students with special needs will get extra time to take the exam. Visually impaired, cerebral palsy, and handicapped students with special needs can participate in this year’s SSC and equivalent exams with audio recorders. An additional 20 minutes have been extended for such candidates and hearing-impaired candidates. Candidates suffering from autism, Down syndrome, or cerebral palsy have been given the opportunity to take the exam with the special support of teachers, parents, and helpers, with an additional 30 minutes of extension.

The SSC written exam will take place from April 30th to May 23rd.A practical test will be conducted between May 24 and May 30. The submission test will start on April 30 and continue till May 25. A practical test of submission will be conducted between May 27 and June 3. The written examinations for SSC and Dakhil Vocational will start on April 30 and continue until May 23. Practical examinations will be held from May 25 to June 4, and practical training for 15 people will start on June 5.
 
The government has ordered all coaching from last Wednesday to conduct the examination in a fair and cheat-free environment. All coaching centers will remain closed until May 23.

Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni said that any student who does not deserve special facilities will not get special facilities. If a candidate is ineligible for special benefits due to illness, as mentioned in our manual, the son or daughter of an incumbent cannot in any way get that benefit. I will take action as soon as I receive the complaint. Irregularities in SSC and equivalent exams will not be given any exemption.

16 lakh, 49 thousand, and 275 students from nine general education boards will participate in the SSC examination. 7 lakh, 79 thousand, and 870 students are among them. And 8 lakh, 69 thousand, 405 students. These students from a total of 17 thousand 786 schools will participate in the SSC examination. They will participate in the SSC and equivalent examinations at 2,244 centers.

2 lakh, 95 thousand, and 121 candidates will participate in the entrance examination. Among them are 1 lakh, 43 thousand, and 993 students. And 1 lakh, 51 thousand, and 128 students. This time, candidates from 9 thousand and 85 madrasas will take part in the Dakhil exam. A total of 716 centers will hold the submission test.

1 lakh, 27 thousand, and 767 candidates will take part in the SSC and Dakhil Vocational Examinations under the Technical Education Board. Among them, 97 thousand 334 students and 30 thousand 433 female students Candidates from a total of 2,927 technical educational institutions will participate in the SSC and Dakhil Vocational Examination. They will participate in the SSC Vocational Examination at a total of 850 centers.

Among the nine general boards, 4 lakh, 19 thousand, and 643 candidates will take part in the SSC examination from the Dhaka board. Among them, 1 lakh 96 thousand 891 students and 2 lakh 22 thousand 752 female students These students from 3 thousand 269 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 431 centers under the Dhaka Board.

2 lakh, 5 thousand, and 802 candidates will participate in the SSC exam from the Rajshahi Board. Among them are 1 lakh, 6 thousand, 223 students and 99 thousand, 579 female students. These students from 26,000 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 265 centers under the Rajshahi Board.

1 lakh, 85 thousand, and 106 candidates will participate in the SSC exam from the Comilla board. Among them, 77 thousand 456 students and 1 lakh 7 thousand 641 female students These students from 1,776 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 272 centers under the Comilla Board.

1 lakh, 57 thousand, and 795 candidates will participate in the SSC exam from the Jessore board. Among them were 78 thousand 493 students and 79 thousand 302 female students. These students from 2 thousand 548 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 293 centers under the Jessore Board.

1 lakh, 54 thousand, and 691 candidates will participate in the SSC exam from the Chittagong Board. Among them were 68 thousand 221 students and 86 thousand 470 female students. These students from 11,000 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 216 centers under this board.

The Barisal Board’s SSC exam will be taken by 91,800 candidates.Among them were 43 thousand 727 students and 48 thousand 73 female students. These students from 1,075 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 91 centers under this board.

1 lakh, 9 thousand, and 820 candidates will participate in the SSC exam from the Sylhet board. Among them were 45 thousand 306 students and 64 thousand 514 female students. These students from 931 schools will participate in the SSC examination at 149 centers under the board.

2 lakh, 1 thousand, 802 candidates will participate in the SSC exam from the Dinajpur Board. Among them were 1 lakh, 1 thousand, 598 students and 99 thousand, 761 female students. These students from 2 thousand 703 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 277 centers under the board.

1 lakh, 23 thousand, and 259 candidates will participate in the SSC exam from the Mymensingh board. Among them, 61 thousand 946 students and 61 thousand 313 female students These students from 12,000 schools will participate in the SSC examination in 150 centers under the board.
