Khagrachari representative: ‘Chini Hukumu, Chini Sinimung, i.e., our culture is our identity, a procession was held on the occasion of the Tripura nation’s traditional Baisu festival, 1433 Tripura AD, by the initiative of Bangladesh Tripura Kalyan Sangsad and Tripura Students Forum.
State Minister Kujendra Lal Tripura MP, Chairman of the Task Force on Refugees Returned to India, inaugurated the procession yesterday morning on Saturday morning at the Khagrachari Government College ground in the city, after performing various types of fascinating cultural performances and discussions, including the traditional Garya dance of Tripura. The procession goes around the main road of the city and ends at the Municipal Town Hall. Bangladesh Tripura Welfare Council President Sushil Jiban Tripura presided over the discussion meeting held.
