Entertainment Desk: The winner of Indian Idol 13 after a long 7-month journey is Rishi Singh, son of Ayodhya, India. Debasmita, a girl from Calcutta, came in second place. Since the beginning of season 13, Rishi Singh’s potential in the competition has been seen towards Rishi. He laughed the last laugh. Chirag Kotwal came third.
The final episode of Indian Idol 13 aired on Sunday. The name of the sage is announced here. Apart from winning the winner’s trophy, Rishi received a luxury car (Techy Brezza) and a prize money of Rs. 25 lakhs. The second runner-up Devasmita bagged the prize money of 15 lakh rupees.
Apart from these three, Vidipta Chakraborty, Sonakshi Kar and Shivam Singh made it to the grand finale of Indian Idol. This time Indian Idol was judged by Himesh Reshammiya, Vishal Dadlani and Neha Kakkar, with Aditya Narayan hosting the show.

Indian Idol started airing on 10 September 2022. The reality show ended after a seven-month long tour. Bangaon’s daughter Arunita Kanjilal missed out on the trophy at the last minute despite coming very close to winning last season. Sonakshi, Devasmita, Vidipta still missed the trophy even if they managed to make it to the finals.
Director duo Abbas-Mustan, music director Salim Merchant, director-composer Vishal Bhardwaj and his wife Rekha Bhardwaj appeared as special guests in the final episode.
