Dhaka Bureau: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has claimed that the current government has implemented Vision 2021 very successfully, saying that as a result of the digital system, 5 crores of revenue is being collected in the land sector every day. So far, 770 crore rupees have been deposited in the government’s treasury. From next Pesakh, 100% of taxes will be collected online.
He said these things while speaking at the National Land Conference 2023 on Wednesday (March 28). Seven projects of the Land Ministry were inaugurated at the event.
The Prime Minister said that many people had to face a lot of harassment while taking land-related services. In the smart, digital Bangladesh that we are building, people will not have to face that harassment anymore. Living in the country or abroad, your wealth will be yours. We have taken measures to ensure your rights. We want all kinds of irregularities to be removed from Bangladesh.
He also said that land management has been modernized along with the digitization of land services. Measures have also been taken to prevent land-related crimes. The issue of recruitment has also been addressed through the new recruitment rules in the military. There will be no more manpower shortages in the future. The Assistant Commissioner (Land) has been appointed in all upazilas. They have also been given vehicles.
