Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s movie ‘Tu Jhuti Mai Makkar’ was released yesterday. This is his first released movie this year. It stars Ranbir Kapoor opposite Shraddha. They appeared on screen for the first time as a couple in this movie of the romantic comedy genre.
Directed by Love Ranjan, this movie is getting appreciation from the audience. It also did well at the box office. Box office analyst Taran Adarsh said in a tweet that the movie ‘Tu Jhuti Mai Makkar’ has done very well in several states on its first day of release. In this case, the Holi festival had an extra charge. Again, some states have suffered some commercial losses. Because Holi festival has been celebrated a day earlier in those states. The movie grossed Rs 15.73 crore in India on Wednesday (March 8).
Box Office India said in a report that the film should do better in Mumbai and Pune. Because there is a separate market for this genre of movies. Income has decreased in Uttar Pradesh. But there is potential to do better tomorrow.
Apart from Ranveer and Shraddha, Boney Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Anubhav Singh, and Monika Chowdhury have acted in various roles in the movie. Karthik Aaryan and Nusrat Bharucha will be seen in cameo roles in the movie.
