Dhaka Bureau: Cabinet Secretary Md. Mahbub Hossain said that Qatar will appoint 1135 army, navy, and air force members from Bangladesh. The cabinet approved a draft agreement between Bangladesh and Qatar, keeping such a provision.
This approval was given in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday (February 27). After the meeting, the Cabinet informed the journalists at the Secretariat.
According to Mahbub Hossain, the government’s attention was drawn to the shortage of OMS management during the cabinet meeting. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given instructions to improve this deficit. As part of this, he directed that OMS be distributed via card. Besides, in the meeting, the Cabinet approved the draft Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Amendment Act 2023 in principle.
