Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: A young man named Mohammad Gani (30) was killed in a collision between a passenger bus and an easybike at Ramu in Cox’s Bazar. At this time, eight more people were injured.
The accident took place in front of Joarianala Mahila Madrasah on Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar Road at 9 a.m. on Monday (February 27). Mohammad Gani (30), a passenger on the easy bike who died in the accident, lived in the East Murapara area of Jowarianala Union Ward No. 5 in Ramur.
Several passengers, including the easybike driver, were injured in the accident. Among them, the condition of Easybike driver Nurul Azim is said to be critical. Nurul Azim (24), is the son of Zafar Alam of East Jowarianala village, Ward No. 8, Jowarianala Union, Ramur.
Eyewitnesses said that one easybike tried to overtake another easybike. At that time, the Easybike collided with the Chittagong-bound passenger bus Marcha. The easybike will twist and turn as a result of this.Pedestrians rescued the injured from the spot and took them to the Ramu Upazila Health Complex and Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital. When Mohammad Gani, the passenger on the easy bike, was taken to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Ramur Tulatali Highway Police Outpost Sub-Inspector Zainal Abedin said one person died in the accident. The dead body was taken to the Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue. Besides, the condition of one injured person is critical. Necessary measures will be taken in this regard.
