Dhaka Bureau: The Election Commission (EC) has finalized the draft of the constituencies’ boundaries for the upcoming 12th National Parliament elections. Anyone from the affected area will have only 20 days to make demands and object to this draft.The Election Commissioner (EC) also said that the gazette will be published tomorrow, keeping the respective parliamentary seat boundaries. EC Alamgir said that the draft of the delineation of parliamentary constituencies has been finalized. The gazette will be done by tomorrow. There’s nothing new here. The boundaries that were set in 2018 remain intact. Name changes or administrative divisions that have occurred only for administrative reasons have been replaced with new names by dropping the old names. No change. There may be five or six of these. Commission approved. Now it will be gazetted by the secretary.
