Dhaka Bureau: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to Kotalipara Upazila of Gopalganj after four long years. On Saturday (February 25), he will address the public meeting organized by the Awami League at Talimpur Telihati High School grounds of Sadullapur Union in Kotalipara as the chief guest. Besides, he will inaugurate 48 development projects while sitting in the public meeting.
Kotalipara residents are ready to welcome Sheikh Hasina. On the occasion of his arrival, the entire upazila is decorated in a new way. Hundreds of arches have been built. Thousands of banners and festoons are hung on both sides of the road. Various roads have been renovated. All parties have taken steps to make this rally a success.
Meanwhile, three layers of security have been deployed for the Prime Minister’s arrival. Checkpoints have been installed at various Kotalipara upazila entrances.Eight thousand policemen have been deployed in the area around the venue. Besides, members of various law enforcement agencies, including RAB, police, and BGB, were seen patrolling various important areas, including meeting places.
Upazila Shuagram Union Parishad (UP) Chairman Yajneshwar Vaidya Anup said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is like our mother. She sustains us with motherly love.
