Jatiya Party Chairman and Deputy Leader of the Opposition Gholam Mohammad Quader said this in the speech of the chief guest at the Jatiya Party workers rally on the main road adjacent to Shyampur police station in the capital on Saturday (February 11).
He said, whatever our result in the election, it does not matter. We want people’s voting rights to be guaranteed. There is no honor in being an MP-minister in Daya-Dakshina. True honor lies in being elected by popular vote.
GM Quader said that the republic is the common people of the country who own the country. They will elect representatives to run the country. The representatives will govern the country according to the will of the country’s owners (common people). If the representatives do not work according to the wishes of the common people, then the owners of the country can change the representatives through elections. The spirit of the liberation war is that all people will enjoy all rights equally. Common people’s rights are being taken away, contrary to the spirit of the liberation war.
He said to the leaders and workers that good things have to be paid at a good price. Cheap is never good. Therefore, a good price must be paid for the well-being of the country. That is why the National Party Chairman ordered the leaders and workers to be ready.

There is no justice for such a large number of murders, but no one is accountable. No one can escape the responsibility of irresponsibility in the trial of Sagar-Runi murder. The people of the country think that an influential group is influencing the Sagar-Runi murder case. According to common people, the Sagar-Runi murder is not being prosecuted because of the fear that the truth will be exposed. He told the media workers to be more courageous and present the truth. Sagar-Runi’s murder must be tried.
In the speech of the chief guest, Jatiya Party Chairman Gholam Mohammad Quader also said that 80 million dollars were stolen from Bangladesh Bank’s reserve but those involved were not punished. At least 13 names of Bangladeshis were mentioned in a media report but no action was taken against them. Some of those accused of stealing dollars have been promoted, while others have already retired. Out of 8 million 10 million dollars, only one and a half million dollars have been brought back, nobody knows when the rest of the money will come to the country. There is no visible initiative of the concerned in this regard. Why was the theft of dollars kept secret for 38 days? Why didn’t the then governor of Bangladesh Bank explain it? He also cannot avoid the responsibility of stealing dollars.
Jatiya Party Chairman Golam Mohammad Quader also said that we are doing politics to ensure good governance in the country. We want to ensure the rule of law. Instead of suppression of evil and nurturing of morals, now suppression of morals and nurturing of evil is going on. Our politics is to prevent corruption, misrule, factionalism, tendering. He said that the fate of the country will not be restored if only people’s faces are changed through elections. If the face of the people changes and the tendering, extortion, factionalism, corruption and misrule continue, it will not benefit the people of the country. Qualitative changes in politics should be ensured through elections.

But the government of the country is helping the people of the country in various ways including cash. Rationing is being done to save the common people of different countries. Mega projects are being implemented at the expense of thousands of crores of rupees, but only by spending a few rupees, it is possible to keep the people of the country alive by providing daily commodities at low cost through ration cards.
He said that 25 thousand people lost their lives in the terrible earthquake in Syria-Turkey. We pray for the forgiveness of their souls. Bangladesh is also prone to severe earthquakes. However, the building code is not being followed in the construction of the building. Clearance is being given through bribery. Due to corruption, the lives of billions of people in the country are being thrown into serious danger. Millions of people’s lives are being put at extreme risk, while no one seems to be doing anything.
