Entertainment Desk: January 30 was Tasnia Farin’s birthday. He is spending his birthday outside the country for the first time. He is in Kolkata for 10 days for the promotion of Fareen’s first movie, “Ro Ek Prithivi,” in West Bengal. The Bangladeshi actress is going to make her debut on the big screen with “Ro Ek Prithi.”
Farin told the media on Monday (January 30) afternoon, “I am not very interested in celebrating my birthday.” I have celebrated two consecutive birthdays at the shooting location. This time, the birthday has come in the middle of promoting the movie outside the country. not my birthday, but work is important to me.
He said he returned to the hotel after finishing the promotion of the movie at 10 o’clock the night before his birthday. Come and sleep in the mud. I got up in the morning and organized a film club at a college in Kolkata to promote it among the students. In the meantime, friends or family members called and texted from Dhaka and congratulated her. Here too, everyone from the film team congratulated her.
Apart from acting, Farin can also sing. Sometimes he sings and posts on Facebook. but never sang on stage. Farin said that he will sing for the first time at the film’s song release event later this evening. The theme song of the film “Yat Eta Jeevan Two Hande” is my favorite song. I will sing the song live on the stage of the event. One day I practiced the song along with the music. Still, I am afraid; I don’t know what will happen.
With the team, Farin is campaigning in various places, including colleges, universities, television channels, and media offices. He said that he is getting great responses everywhere: “It seems as if everyone knows me already.” My works on OTT are getting additional exposure due to the audience here. So I can enjoy the question-and-answer session very much.
A few days ago, I met the popular actor Prosenjit from Kolkata while promoting. About that incident, Farin said, “He recognized me when he saw me.” saw my work in OTT. Bumbada told me, “Farin, your acting is good; keep it up.” I am so human; his praise is a blessing for me.
Like other cities in India, Kolkata is now experiencing the “Pathan” storm. Farin also joined in this frenzy. I saw the film at Inox in South City on January 26. Shah Rukh Khan’s film has never been seen on the big screen before. So there was a lot of desire. On the 25th, I did not receive a ticket.I watched the 9 a.m. show on the 26th. Shah Rukh was the only one watching. The “King is back” with this film.I was watching and thinking, “What magic is there in a man who returns after four years and keeps mesmerizing the audience?”
There is another side to this “pathan” craze. Kolkata’s Bengali cinema is getting damaged due to Yash Raj’s Hindi film, said many makers, actors, and producers of Tollyganj. In this situation, what will not affect Farin’s film? In response to such a question, Farin said, “You can read a little.” But Atanu Dada’s movies have an audience all over West Bengal. They will definitely not miss the film. I can already imagine the film that Bengali speakers will flock to Hallmukhi to see.But sometimes the movie business also depends on luck. We are ready to accept any situation.
Fareen got the chance to watch his first movie before its release. As his expectations for the film grew after watching it, so did his confidence in his own work, Farin said. He said, “Everyone involved with the film, including the invited guests, watched the film at Nandan in Kolkata on January 28.” I found it wonderful. I hope the audience will like the film too.
