Jaku Majhi, a member of the human trafficking gang, was arrested in Anwara

Anwara Correspondent: Anwara Thana Police arrested Jaku Majhi alias (Jakka Majhi) on the warrant of the Raipur Union of Anwara Upazila’s human trafficker case.
He was arrested from the Gahira Ghatkul area of Ward No. 09 of Raipur Union of Anwara Upazila on Sunday, January 30. The arrested Jaku Majhi is said to be the son of deceased Rabiul Islam of Ward No. 9 Mahmud’s house in Raipur Union’s Gahira Ghatkul area.
According to local sources, Jaku has long been involved in a human trafficking ring and Yaba in various crimes. 2015 network of human traffickers spread across the country. After a long search, a joint team of police compiled a list of the top 241 traffickers, both domestic and foreign, including 11 internationals. where Jaku Majhi is listed as a member of a human trafficking ring.
The officer-in-charge of Anwara Police Station, Mirza Mohammad Hasan, said that Jaku Majhi, accused in several cases at Anwara Police Station, was arrested from his house in the Gahira Ghatkul area. Jaku Majhi is an accused in a human trafficking case. He was on the run for a long time. He was sent to court on Monday afternoon.
