Basheer Ahmed, Bandarban Correspondent: Sheikh Kamal 2nd Youth Games-2023 Chittagong Divisional Level Inter-District Games of Karate held in Bandarban. Friday (January 20) night, organized by Bangladesh Olympic Association and managed by Bandarban District Sports Association, prize distribution among winners at Hillview Convention Center, Bandarban headquarters is given away. Chittagong Divisional Commissioner and Chittagong District Sports Association President Dr. Md. Aminur Rahman.
Bangladesh Karate Federation General Secretary and Sheikh Kamal 2nd Youth Games-2023 Chief Coordinator of Chittagong Divisional Karate Event K. Shai Hla were also present.
Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban Yachmin Parveen Tibriji presided over the ceremony former vice president of Bangladesh Karate Federation. Shahzada Alam and Vice President of Bangladesh Karate Federation Md Iqbal Hossain were present.
The organizers said, Chittagong players won 4 gold, 6 silver and 8 bronze in the day-long game. And in Bandarban the players won 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 3 Bronze. Noakhali players won 4 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze. . Cox’s Bazar players won 1 gold and 2 bronze. . Comilla players won 1 gold, 2 silver and 12 bronze. . Feni players won 1 bronze. . Rangamati players won 2 Gold and 1 Bronze.
In Kumite – 60 kg won first place Singkyu Marma of Bandarban won second place Mang Pong Mro, – Nahida Akhtar of Comilla won first place in 61 kg and Anvesha De of Chittagong won second place.
In Kumite -67kg, the first place was won by Sardan Bikas of Rangamati and the second place was Al Muit of Noakhali.
Samudra Majumdar of Chittagong won the first place in Kumite-68 kg and Uma Chowdhury of Chittagong won the second place. 1st place in Kumite -75 kg
Al Arabi Rafi in Chittagong took the second place followed by Zarif Kabir of Chittagong.
