Gazipur District Correspondent: Gazipur PBI has arrested Md. Nasir Mia (28) who is involved in the murder of Sihab, a child victim of brutal torture in Majukhan, Gazipur. Nasir Mia (28), the main murderer of Shishu Sihab, the victim of brutal torture, was arrested on Thursday.
According to PBI, on the afternoon of August 25, after finding out that the victim Sihab Hossain could not be found, the family members including the victim’s grandmother started searching for Sihab. The next day, August 26, at 7:30 am, the victim’s grandmother Nachima Begum heard through Lokmukh that a boy’s body was found in front of the house building of one Haji Salam Munsi in Uttarpara area of Mazukhan under Pubail Thana.
On receiving the news, the victim’s grandmother, his son, son’s wife and other family members quickly went to the spot and identified the body of victim Sihab Hossain (06), grandson of the plaintiff, and took the body to their home. Later, based on the news, the Pubail police arrived at the victim’s grandmother Nachima’s house and prepared the body’s condition and sent the body to the hospital morgue for post-mortem.
In the said incident, the victim’s grandmother Nachima filed a case under section 302/201/34 Penal Code Act No. 15 dated 26/09/2021 AD of GMP Pubail Police Station as a plaintiff. Pubail Thana police investigated the case and could not uncover any mystery, while the case is under investigation, the police headquarters, Dhaka PBI ordered the investigation to Gazipur district.
Under the proper supervision and guidance of Additional IGP PBI Banaj Kumar Majumdar, the investigation officer of the case, Police Inspector (retd) Md Rafiqul Islam, with the full cooperation of PBI Gazipur Unit In-charge Superintendent of Police Mohammad Makshuder Rahman, investigated the case.
During the questioning of the arrested accused, it is known that the arrested accused Nasir Mia (28) used to work as an employee at Farooq’s chicken shop in Mazukhan Uttarpara. Most of the time the owner was not in the shop. Nasir himself bought and sold chicken and feed. Victim Sihab, son of Jewel from the next lane, used to visit him in the shop sometimes. The shopkeeper used a toy pistol to chase away the chickens while they ate the feed. Bullets fired from toy pistols were picked up by the victim Sihab. Sometimes Nasir used to buy chips for Sihab. The victim used to call Sihab Nasir ‘chicken uncle’. In this way Nasir’s relationship with the victim Sihab developed. Accused Nasir used to live on rent in Emon’s house in the same neighborhood.
On the day of the incident, Nasir was watching blue film on his laptop in his room. On that day in the afternoon when it was drizzling, the victim went to Sihab Nasir’s room. Nasir then has a perverse thought and screams as he tries to rape Sihab. When the accused grabbed Nasi’s face, the victim child Sihab’s body became frozen. Leaving Sihab’s dead body under the bed, he closed the door and went out of Nasi.
The victim left Sihab’s dead body near Salam Munsi’s house in the early hours of the night. 3 days after the incident, Nasir left the area and went to Chittagong. Returned from Chittagong after 2 days. Then after 1 week accused Nasir went to chilla (tabligh) for 40 days.
In this regard, PBI Superintendent of Police Mohammad Maqchuder Rahman told The Crime that the only accused involved in the incident is mentally deranged. Excited by seeing the blue picture on the laptop, the victim brutally killed the child Sihab while trying to rape him.
