Press Release: A mobile court was conducted against illegal brick kilns in Sadar Upazila of Thakurgaon district on Friday morning (January 06) in the joint initiative of Department of Environment Panchagarh District Office and District Administration Thakurgaon. At that time the owner of M/s Ma Bricks brick kiln was fined 1 lakh rupees for operating the brick kiln illegally and the fire of the brick kiln was completely extinguished.
Assistant Commissioner of District Administration, Thakurgaon and learned Executive Magistrate Md. Haseeb-ul-Ahsan led the operation and Assistant Director of Department of Environment, Panchagarh District Office Md. Yusuf Ali acted as prosecutor.
Ansar Battalion, Thakurgaon and a group of members of Fire Service and Civil Defense assisted in the operation.
Such operations will continue on behalf of Directorate of Environment, Panchagarh District Office.
