Entertainment Desk: Lit Fest 2023 ceremony started with spiritual performance. Nobel laureate Abdulrazak Gurnah, Indian writer and literary critic Amitabh Ghosh and Minister of State for Culture KM Khalid inaugurated the four-day festival at Bangla Academy’s Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Auditorium at 10 am on Thursday (January 5).
More than 500 speakers, artists and thinkers from five continents are participating in more than 175 sessions in this four-day festival.
Organizers said the four-day event will feature a diverse mix of talks, science and technology sessions, youth-oriented activities, film screenings, drama, music and cultural performances.
The four-day program will be supervised by the three directors of Lit Fest, Sadaf Saaz, Ahsan Akbar and K. Anees Ahmed.
Nobel laureate authors, internationally acclaimed award winning speakers are present in this event. Among them are winners of Booker and International Booker, Neustadt International, Pen/Pinter, Pre Medici, Oscar Award, Wyndham Campbell Award, Albert Medal, Waterstone’s Children’s Book Prize, Aga Khan Award, etc.

Tickets can be purchased online and in person. Besides, there is facility of spot registration at the main entrance of Bangla Academy.
