Leg cramps in the winter?

Life Style Desk: Being still for a long time can cause muscle tension. But this problem becomes a little extra in winter. While walking, suddenly the toe starts burning. Waist and arm muscles are also tight. Why does this happen? Basically, this tension takes place when the moisture in the body decreases.
Body sweats a lot during summer. Due to scarcity of water, water is consumed repeatedly. However, this trend decreases in winter. Not only that, lack of lactic acid, vitamin D, vitamin E and potassium also leads to muscle tension.
To deal with this problem:
When you get cramps or tension in arms, waist, legs, press and massage the affected area with your fingers. In this way the stiff muscles are gradually normalized by massage. But don’t force too much while massaging. It will do more harm than good.
After massaging the cramp affected area, do some stretching with light pressure after normalization. If you have another exercise routine, skip it. The focus should be on regaining muscle flexibility.
Place a hot water bag on the cramp affected area. After 10 seconds, scald with ice. After ten seconds again, rinse with hot water. Continue in this way for two seconds. You will get comfort.
