Khagrachari Correspondent: The United Peoples Democratic Front (UPDF) and the Baghaichhari Upazila branch of the Chittagong Hill Tracts Women’s Sangh have provided support to the farmers in Baibachhara village, left of Baghaihat of the Sajek Union of Rangamati, in the joint initiative of Sajek, a tourist town in the hill district.
Last Saturday (29th October 2022) this assistance was provided under the leadership of UPDF organizer Urgent Chakma. Radekha Chakma, office secretary of Baghaichhari upazila branch of Chittagong Hill Tracts Women’s Association was also present at this time. Local women and youth also participated in it.
UPDF organizer Urgent Chakma said in a short speech after harvesting rice, UPDF is doing public service work as a people’s party.
Stating that this activity of UPDF will continue, he said, we all have to nurture the spirit of cooperation among each other. We can make progress in the underdeveloped society only by helping each other.
