Compulsory retirement of another police officer

Dhaka Bureau: The government has sent another officer of the rank of Superintendent of Police to retire before the end of his service. Md. The officer named Munir Hossain was working in CID. On Tuesday (December 20), the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Home Affairs announced this information in a notification. The notification said that this order issued in public interest will be effective immediately.

According to the notification, the Special Superintendent of Police (SP) working in CID. Munir Hossain was granted retirement under the provisions of Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018 (Act No. 57 of 2018). It is known that the police officer. Munir Hossain was posted as OSD on July 19, 2011.

Incidentally, earlier on November 16, police superintendent was given compulsory retirement from government service. Ali Hussain Fakir. Earlier, he was attached to DIG Rajshahi Range office as Captain of Khulna 3rd APBN.

In addition, the government sent three superintendents of police on compulsory retirement on October 18. They are CID Police Superintendent Mirza Abdullah Baki, Police Headquarters Police Superintendent Delwar Hossain Mia and Md. Shahidullah Chowdhury.

On the other hand, two additional DIGs were also compulsorily retired on October 31. They are – Additional DIG of Tourist Police. Mahbub Hakim and Additional DIG of CID. Alamgir Alam Besides, on October 16, the government retired Information Secretary Maqbul Hossain from compulsory government service.

On September 2, 2021, the government retired Additional DIG of CID Sheikh Omar Farooq and Captain (Superintendent of Police) Mohammad Abdur Rahim of Sixth APBN of Mahalchari, Khagrachari.
