Dhaka is number 2 in the list of polluted cities

Dhaka Bureau: Dhaka ranks 2nd in the list of most polluted cities in the world. The Air Quality Index (AQI) score was 238 at 8:47 am on Saturday (December 17). An AQI score between 201 and 300 is considered ‘very unhealthy’.

Karachi is another city of Pakistan at number 3 in the list. The score of that city is 218. On the other hand, Lahore scored 264.

An AQI score between 101 and 200 is considered ‘unhealthy’ for susceptible groups. On the other hand, an AQI between 301 and 400 is considered ‘risky’. Which poses a ‘serious health risk’ to residents.
