Dhaka Bureau: The new Cabinet Secretary is Kabir Bin Anwar, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources. On Sunday (December 11), the Ministry of Public Administration appointed Kabir Bin Anwar as the 23rd Cabinet Secretary. The notification also said that this order has been issued on the instructions of the President.
He will succeed Mohammad Khandaker Anwarul Islam. Anwarul Islam is going on a post-retirement vacation on December 15.
It is known that Petrobangla Chairman Nazmul Ahsan is replacing Kabir Bin Anwar in the Ministry of Water Resources.
One of the senior officers of the administration cadre is appointed as Cabinet Secretary. Kabir bin Anwar was ahead as well. Kabir bin Anwar is a 7th batch officer of BCS (Administration) cadre. Besides, he was the Director General (Administration) of the Prime Minister’s Office. He was born on January 4, 1964 in a noble Muslim family of Sirajganj district.
