M. Anwarul Haque, Anwara: Anwara tomorrow Saturday, the tri-annual conference of the Upazila Awami League will be held at the government high school ground. A news conference has been organized by Anwara Upazila Awami League on Friday at 11:30 a.m. ahead of the conference.
Upazila Awami League President Professor MA Mannan Chowdhury said in a press conference organized in the hall of Government High School that we have completed all preparations. The conference will start as usual on Saturday at 2 o’clock. All formalities will be maintained in the conference. Lands Minister Alhaj Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabed MP will deliver the speech as the chief guest.
He also said in the press conference that 15/20 thousand people are expected to attend the conference. On behalf of the organization, he urged everyone to make the tri-annual conference of the Upazila Awami League a success. Upazila Awami League general secretary MA Malek answered various questions of journalists at the press conference. In the press conference, General Secretary MA Malek said that the conference will be smooth. The conference held after a century and a half will be worth watching.

Those whose names are heard for the post of president are the current president Professor MA Mannan Chowdhury, senior vice-president of Upazila Awami League SM Alamgir Chowdhury, upazila chairman Touhidul Haque Chowdhury, besides general secretary of Upazila Sramik League Md Syed is aspiring for the post of president. Current General Secretary MA Malek, Upazila Awami League Vice President Zafar Uddin Chowdhury, Joint General Secretary Fazlul Karim Chowdhury Babul, Bairag, UP Chairman Nawab Ali, Upazila Sramik League President Mohammad Jasim Uddin Chowdhury, Joint Secretary Sugrib Majumdar Dolon , former UP Chairman Yasin Hero, UP Chairman Kalim Uddin besides Barshat UP Chairman MA Qayyum Shah is also being heard.
