Own Correspondent: In my long political life I have had the opportunity to mix with many politicians and witnessed their political activities closely, but I have learned how to win the hearts of the common people through sacrifice and ideology politics from a handful of leaders. One of them is public leader late MA Wahab. It can be assumed that he was my political teacher. Bangladesh Awami League presidium member and former minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain MP said these things in the chief guest speech at the commemoration meeting jointly organized by Awami League in Chittagong metropolis north and south district at LGED meeting place on Saturday (October 29) afternoon.

He said that the opposition party is running bad propaganda against the government about the current price of goods, but it is much lower in Bangladesh than in Europe and America market. Talking about the threat of the so-called movement, veteran A-League leader Musharraf said that in the past, BNP-Jamaat had killed many people by carrying out fire and bomb attacks. He also thanked the family members for publishing the memorial book of the late MA Ohab, if any such activity is attempted again, it will be resisted with the people.

In the speech of the chairman of the meeting, South District Awami League President Moslem Uddin Ahmed MP said that humane compassionate politicians like MA Wahab are not seen these days. Their politics was sacrifice and ideology. And today’s politics is about luxury. Currently, many people are seen as if they have become the king of the area. They have no sympathy for the people.

North District Awami League President and former Zilla Parishad Chairman MA Salam said, MA Ohab was an absolute Trinamool leader. He had an illustrious political life, but he took politics as a vow. He used to walk like a normal person. I have never seen a pure politician like him in my life.

South District Awami League General Secretary Mofizur Rahman said that one can become a pure politician if one learns from the life of leaders like late MA Wahab. He was a man of politics.

North District Awami League General Secretary Sheikh Mo Ataur Rahman said, I had the opportunity to get close to MA Ohab. I have never seen the mentality of luxury in him. He is a great role model for the present generation.
