Md. Abul Bashar Nayan, Bandarban: Bidisha Siddique, former wife of late President HM Ershad, said that in the future, Jatiya Party (Japa) will be reorganized under his leadership and will go to Parliament with the youth. A reconstituted Zapa will follow the path shown by Ershad.
He said these things at the Chittagong divisional workers rally held in Bandarban on Wednesday afternoon. Bandarban District Jatiya Party (of the Constituent Process) organized the event.
Bidisha said, when he sees various types of inactivity including divisions and personal interests in late Ershad’s Jatiya Party, he feels very sad. Instead of protecting the party, many people are now busy gathering their own sugarcane. In this situation, we want to reorganize the party of Ershad’s principles and ideals with you, where everyone will forget the differences and personal interests and work together shoulder to shoulder for the development of the country. Before this, Vidisha joined the rally with a colorful procession.

Later, when Bidisha Ershad met with journalists at the Bandarban Press Club, Press Club President Aminul Islam Bachchu and General Secretary Minarul Haque greeted him with flowers. At that time, he is still alive because of journalists, Vidisha said, after being detained in 2005, he was subjected to inhuman torture. He was not killed only because of the activities of journalists. He also said that the present generation does not know Mr. Ershad. Its failure is due to those who have locked the National Party in closed rooms. Ershad gave up power for democracy. He wants to stop non-politics to create friendly relations.
