Mirsarai (Chittagong) Representative: On the occasion of the National Student Assessment 2022 of the Directorate of Primary Education, examination and evaluation of students’ standards in Bengali and Maths is going on.
A total of 19 educational institutions of Mirsarai, Chittagong have been nominated through lottery for evaluation as per the schedule of Directorate of Primary Education. Mirsrai upazila has 11 government primary schools, 5 kindergartens and 3 madrasas.
On Tuesday (December 6) at 11 a.m., Mirsrai Maruf Model Primary and High School was visited by officials of the Department of Education. The inspectors are Md. Mostafa Farooq Khan, Assistant Education Officer of Primary Education Department, Mirsarai Upazila Education Officer AKM Fazlul Haque, Anwara Upazila Assistant Education Officer Ranjan Bhattacharya. Mirsrai Press Club President Nurul Alam, Maruf Model Primary and High School Principal Nazim Uddin, Senior Assistant Teacher Momin Uddin, Zia Uddin Bablu, Ekramul Haque and others were present.
The inspectors visited the school on National Student Assessment (NSA) and wrote in the comment column that classes from 1st to 10th standard were taught in the school. Every classroom in the school was visited. Apart from NSA, the annual examination of other classes of the school was going on, the headmaster of the school seemed very sincere. The school campus was seen clean. However, boundary walls around the school are required.
Nazim Uddin, head teacher of the school, said that the inspectors were satisfied with the quality of education, teaching and cleanliness of the school. We have always ensured a fair teaching and learning environment in our school. This time too, the upazila has achieved the second place in the SSC results and has maintained its continuity.
