Dhaka Bureau: The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has said that all government primary schools in the country will run in one shift from January. Sunday (October 30) at around 11 am, the secretary of the ministry. Aminul Islam Khan told this information to reporters.
The secretary said, this rule will be implemented across the country from January next year.
He said, I am planning to bring all the primary schools of the country in one shift. I will be able to implement it from January next year.
Stating that the schools will be adjusted considering the students, teachers and infrastructure, the secretary said, now there are two-room schools, one-room schools, and three-room schools. There is no way six classes can be run in two rooms. Buildings cannot be built overnight. Considering these, it has been planned to bring all the schools in the country in one shift. No schools are closing, no teachers are losing their jobs. Everything is fine. Simply sharing the work. In that case it may also be seen that where there are two rooms, there will be pre-primary.
When asked when this decision will be effective, the secretary said, we are trying, we will be able to do it from next January. I hope I can do a lot even if I can’t do it all.
