The Crime Desk: The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed 11 people into Bangladesh through the Patgram border in Lalmonirhat. Among them are 7 women and four children.
They were pushed through the Vita border in Rahmatpur Gatia at around 11:30 pm on Wednesday (May 21). BGB’s Dhabalsuti Camp Commander Naik Subedar Abdul Matin confirmed the matter to the media.
According to local sources, after entering the country through the Vita border in Gatia, they started walking towards Patgram. However, when they reached the local new market, the people of the market became suspicious and stopped them and questioned them. They confessed that they had been sent from India. Later, the locals informed the BGB. The BGB took them away.
Patgram Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman said, “The police are working on the matter at the field level.” It will be possible to provide details later.
