The Crime Desk: The weather has been quite unstable across the country for the past few days. Three days ago, there was a forecast of storms and rain in all divisions of the country. However, the Meteorological Department has said that the day and night temperatures may increase across the country in the next four days. There is a possibility of thundershowers only in the Sylhet division in the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department gave such a forecast on Thursday (May 8).
Meteorologist Khondaker Hafizur Rahman said that the low-pressure area is extending from West Bengal to the north Bay of Bengal through the southwestern part of Bangladesh.
The forecast given till Friday morning (May 9) said that there may be temporary gusty winds with lightning/rain/thunderstorms in one or two places in the Sylhet division. The weather may remain mainly dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country. The day temperature may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius across the country, and the night temperature may increase slightly. The mild heat wave that is blowing over Sirajganj district and Khulna division may spread.

Day and night temperatures may decrease slightly across the country. Heat waves may subside in some places.
The extended five-day weather forecast says that rain/thunderstorms may continue during this time and the temperature may decrease further.
